Spring Rain

Spring rain, I know everyone has had more than enough of it so apologies to those who aren't keen on seeing some studies inspired by it, but, perhaps think of these as seeing the sunlight appearing, the clouds are dramatic but clearing.

Acrylic studies on paper, after a rainy morning walk looking for bluebells, the result of one of those painting sessions where the stars align and I felt released and meditative, lost in the mark making and my memories of the fresh spring air in the woodlands and fields of the countryside.
