Blue Sky Thinking

Playing with landscape ideas... We've been on a lot of lovely car journeys this summer and I've really enjoyed watching the landscape change, OK so it's a shame to see the luscious green of May and early June dry out and fade away, but, there is also something very solid and warm and familiar about the sandy yellows and ochres of the fields as the summer wears on. I also find there is something seriously effective when those vibrant sunny earthy colours are set against the bluest of blue skies.
