I'm really interested in landscape and architecture. In both areas I like to explore the view from a distance to right up close. I've always enjoyed painting and drawing but digital photography has helped me understand the way I look around me because of it's speed and versatility. This dandelion head was photographed on Dartmoor in 2010 really early in the morning and is also one of my earliest botanical close-ups.
